7 Ways to Know if You’ve Outgrown People In Your Life

I know what you’re thinking, “Wow, he’s blogging on friendships…again!”

I apologize. My brain seems to ponder about the good and bad of relationships a lot…like a lot.

I’m a true believer that, “Life moves at the speed of relationships,” and you have to be aware of the people you have decided to surround yourself with because they ultimately determine the course of your life.

You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with. – Jim Rohn

I’ve witnessed many people lose it all because they were not sensitive to the people they were around and were unaware of the destruction that it brought into their lives.

The righteous choose their friends carefully, but the way of the wicked leads them astray.

Proverbs 12:26

The reality is that over time you change (or at least you should). Your perspectives change, you mature, you learn new things, meet new people, etc..  I am 100% certain that everyone you know right now does not qualify for the next season of your life.

So here are 7 ways to know if you’ve outgrown a person in your life…

1.) What interests you changes

2.) What frustrates you changes

3.) What challenges you changes

4.) What your priorities are changes

5.) What feeds you changes

6.) What annoys you changes

7.) What hurts you changes

It is okay to outgrow people in your life. It is evidence that you’re maturing!

I love hearing from you! – comment below and share your thoughts.
