“Nobody plans to ruin their lives, just few of us plan not to.” – Andy Stanley
Whether we like it or not, we are the product of our choices.
Here are 3 things you need to know about your choices:
1.) Our choices are moving us toward or away from the best life.
Every choice we make is moving us toward or away from our best selves. The best that God has for us financially, physically, emotionally, professionally, etc. . . could be compromised if we fail to know that our daily choices do have a return…for better or worse.
Know that choices are always moving us toward or away from our potential.
2.) Our choices affect those around us.
I think we all know people who have been affected by the choices of others. Whether good or bad, our children, nieces, nephews, siblings, teams, or friends often feel the ripple effects of our choices.
We should make choices to be mindful of the people around us because those choices affect them more often than we realize.
3.) Every day is a new day of choices.
Today is a clean slate.
Even if you have made poor choices in the past, it doesn’t mean that you have to make poor choices today.
Take responsibility for the decisions that you will make today and know that your future depends on them.
Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
